INDEPENDENCE DAY is celebrated with honour, enthusiasm, and pride every year. This year we will celebrate the 74th independence day and remember our brave freedom fighters who gave a lot of contribution & sacrifice their lives to became a Bharat independent. This Independence Day will be celebrated differently due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is vitally important to follow the prevention due to Covid-19 such as social distancing, sanitizing, avoid a large group of people & wearing masks, etc. These guidelines concern the minister of home affairs and the ministry of health and family welfare.
Innovative ways to celebrate independence day, this year will communicate patriotic songs, national integration through digital platform & social media waving of National flag by people at rooftops, building balconies. It would show the theme "Atamnirbhar Bharat" suitable be spread through activity on digital platforms during the independence day.
Some limitations on the occasion of Independence Day 2020 in Delhi and other State due to Covid-19 :
As we know that on the occasion of Independence Day ceremony at Red Fort will consist of the presentation of a Guard of Honour by the Armed Forces. The prime minister hoists the flag at the red fort which accompanied by playing the National Anthem and firing of 21-gun salute, speech by the Prime Minister, singing the National Anthem and patriotic song directly after the PM's speech.
The function will perform with guidelines released by the ( MHA) Ministry of the home affair. The function of the day may include plantation, college activities, which would be performed on a digital platform. Online campaigns perform by NSS and NKYS & some other activity would be performed by the State government/union Terriortry according to an appropriate condition on this occasion.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic on Independence Day celebration at different levels in State/Union territory, the function will perform in different ways in different states. Some guidelines as a precaution due to pandemic follow by the state.
The Independence Day ceremony starts in the morning after 9: am. the chief minister will hoist the national flag in the capital of the state. It is imperative to follow the instruction by MHA due to COVID-19 such as wearing masks, social distancing, no large group of people, proper sanitize the area. Presentation the Guard of Honour by Paramilitary force, NCC scouts, the speech delivered by the chief minister, singing national anthem immediately after the speech.
On the occasion of Independence Day some COVID-19 warriors like doctors, health workers, nurses, etc would be invited in the ceremony fight against this pandemic and secured many lives so as recognized their noble service would be invited in the ceremony, some cured person from COVID-19 virus may also invite in this celebration.
